The Problem

The Goddard School takes pride in ensuring that their students have fun while learning the skills they need for long-term success in school and in-life. In an attempt to improve upon those experiences, the owners of The Goddard School in Twinsburg, OH, reached out to Audimute for help. They explained their sound problem to us by completing our free room analysis form. Their multi-purpose room, with hard floors and bare walls, created too much echo and noise which made for a very uncomfortable environment for their students. It was difficult to hold a conversation in the room with sound reverberating off the walls. They were placed in contact with Mallory, one of our talented Acoustic Specialists, and scheduled a visit to our newly updated showroom to see our products first hand and learn about different solutions for their sound problem.

The Solution

Although local, there was no need for an in-person design consultation appointment- we were able to do everything over the phone. We requested pictures and dimensions of their multi-purpose room to determine how much acoustic coverage their gym needed. The school was interested in a cost-effective, timeless look that would blend-in with the space. We recommended using our Gallery Wrapped Acoustic Panels for the walls of the gym with 20% acoustic coverage.

The Outcome

The school accepted our recommendations and purchased twenty-two 2’ x 4’ White Gallery Wrapped Acoustic Panels for the walls of the gym through our website. The owner mentioned later that “installation was easy” and that “the panels worked great”! The school was impressed with how much the sound has improved with the addition of the panels. Sound pressure, intensity, and echo in the space was noticeably reduced creating a much more comfortable atmosphere for the children.
