50 States, 50 Acoustic Panels: Maine
- Dec 9, 2025
The United States of America is celebrating its 250th birthday in 2026, and we thought it'd be fun to commemorate America's semiquincentennial by identifying Audimute acoustic panels (all of which are made in the USA) that remind us of each U.S. state.
This week: Maine, home to jagged coastlines, Moosehead Lake, and beautiful pine tree forests.
For Maine, we chose an Audimute acoustic panel that evokes the rocky coast of Acadia National Park: the AcoustiStone® Premium Acoustic Stone Alternative Panel in the "Emperador Chocolate Marble" style.
Looking out into the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, the coastlines of Maine have become iconic thanks to the lightouses and lobster traps dotting its gorgeous rock formations. Speaking of rock formations, no real rocks were used in the making of our sound-absorbing AcoustiStone products. Each one is made with our "green" sound absorption material, eco-C-tex®, with highly realistic rock graphics printed on acoustical fabric that's wrapped around the eco-C-tex.
