Due to the variations in recycled material, each DIY eco-C-tex Acoustic Panel may vary in color tones, but will typically have a neutral speckled light grey appearance. The amount of variation may be greater from order to order.
Audimute DIY eco-C-tex products such as the DIY Acoustic Panels are made with our eco-C-tex sound absorption material, which consists of a blend of recycled cotton and cellulose fibers, the majority of which are post-consumer recycled newspaper.
The panels effectively reduce echo and reverberation in homes, classrooms, theaters, restaurants and any other space that needs a noise reduction solution. They can be used on walls, ceilings (including angled surfaces), and other areas such as trusses. To save time and energy, consider ordering our finished Acoustic Panels.
DIY: Great product for the DIYer who wants to create their own acoustic solution. The panels can be used as is, but for a more appealing solution, we recommend finishing the panels with your choice of paint, or facing or wrapping them with an acoustic fabric. The panels can be cut if needed with a tool such as a utility knife.
Effective: NRC of 0.95 (absorbs an average of 95% of sound that contacts the panel).
Safe: Completely fiberglass-free, unlike alternative sound-absorbing material. Fiberglass can irritate lungs, eyes, skin, and throat.
Eco-Friendly: eco-C-tex takes 1/10th the energy of making fiberglass and 1/40th of making foam.
Class A Fire-Rated: Suitable for use in commercial spaces, conforms to most building regulations.
This product can also be installed on ceilings. To learn more, see the installation information within the Specs & Installation section above.

The workmanship of this product is excellent. The included mounting hardware was simple, quick, and effective on my drywall. They are taming some flutter echo I had at my video chat desk. Shipping was quick and they were packaged well to prevent damage. Highly recommend the product and company.

These DIY acoustic panels carry a lower price tag, but nonetheless they deliver the same level of sound absorption performance. Review by Jeannie w. on 11 Feb 2025review stating Great product
We purchased some of these for acoustic panels in our restaurant and some more for pin boards. We painted the acoustic panels with a light coating of primer but painted the others with a bit heavier coating to match the walls in our private dining/party room. They work well and the hanging tabs and the tips for hanging them are great. We used roll...Read MoreRead more about We purchased some of these for

Review by Robert S. on 25 Jan 2025review stating Great panel and material for custom HVAC baffle
I purchased this to craft into a shoebox sized baffle to go over the HVAC input into my vocal booth. Once I build it, I'll imbed some small rare-earth magnets into the edge to hold it to my AC vent. The airflow noise through the vent is almost imperceptible, but the vent carries voices and other office noise from adjoining rooms in both directions...Read MoreRead more about I purchased this to craft into a
