DIY eco-C-tex® Beveled Edge Acoustic Panels

Audimute DIY eco-C-tex products such as the DIY Beveled Edge Acoustic Panels are made with our eco-C-tex sound absorption material, which consists of a blend of recycled cotton and cellulose fibers, the majority of which are post-consumer recycled newspaper. All of our sound absorption products use eco-C-tex as the sound absorption core material. These panels are the same as our DIY eco-C-tex Acoustic Panels, but come with a beveled edge. The beveled edge provides a unique look, especially when the panels are butted up to each other.

The Beveled Edge Acoustic Panels effectively reduce echo and reverberation in homes, classrooms, theaters, restaurants and any other space that needs a noise reduction solution. They can be used on walls, ceilings (including angled surfaces), and other areas such as trusses. To save time and energy, consider ordering our finished Acoustic Panels.

  • DIY: Great product for the DIYer who wants to create their own acoustic solution. The panels can be used as is, but for a more appealing and quality solution, we recommend finishing the panels with your choice of paint, or facing or wrapping them with an acoustic fabric. The panels can be cut if needed with a tool such as a utility knife.
  • Effective: NRC of 0.95 (absorbs an average of 95% of sound that contacts the panel).
  • Safe: Completely fiberglass-free, unlike alternative sound absorbing material. Fiberglass can irritate lungs, eyes, skin, and throat.
  • Eco-Friendly: eco-C-tex takes 1/10th the energy of making fiberglass and 1/40th of making foam.
  • Class-A Fire Rated: Suitable for use in commercial spaces, conforms to most building regulations.
